Maybe I should have titled this post “One Wreath, Five Ways” because this is the fifth time I have used this little hanging basket for my front door decoration.  I love that it is so versatile and you can use it for all holidays and special occasions.  This time, since autumn is officially here, I decided to share my Hanging Fall Wreath DIY today.

Fall Wreath DIY Instructions

When I went to the craft store, I purchased a few new flowers on sale (plus a coupon) for $6.00! Score! I already had the white hydrangeas pictured below.

I painted two coats of chalkboard paint on the letters.

While they were drying, I hot glued the lace trim and green ribbon onto the burlap.

I hot glued the letters onto the burlap.

Next, I rubbed some chalk on the letters and smeared it with my fingers for more of a chalkboard look.

I arranged my flowers and hung it up! It didn’t take me long to complete, nor did it cost much! Now… what should I do for Halloween… and Christmas… Ha!
