Making your own decorations for a theme party doesn’t have to be hard.  One of my friends did a Hello Kitty Themed Party that has been a hit! She spent a lot of time and thought into making it absolutely fabulous! I thought I’d put together some easy DIY Hello Kitty Party ideas that you can do if you have little time and money. You can use these tips for any themed party as well!

Tip #1: Make your own garland.

You can make this adorable and sweet pompom garland by simply using a needle and thread! Just thread a needle and push it through the thickest part of the pompom and they won’t slide.

Tip #2: Use what you already have.

Typically when you throw a Hello Kitty themed party for your little one, they already have some Hello Kitty toys.  Use them creatively as props to punch up your themed décor.

Simple recipes like potato salad are filling and tasty.  For this one I made it with red potatoes, salt, pepper, finely chopped sweet yellow onions and light mayonnaise. I garnished it with shredded cheese, green onions, and bacon.
