These, I believe. are vintage milk crates. I purchased mine at local flea markets here is SoCal. They always have them there for about $5 to $10 a piece. You can also find them on Ebay, however the draw back is shipping fees. Hope this helps! Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting!
I’m Local Los Angeles and neeeeed to make this! Where do u find ur best crate shopping in the are, is the a place a could get the whole lot in one trip? Thank you!
The one on South Grand Ave. It’s in a little bit of a shady area under the freeway, and the parking is limited, but it’s TOTALLY worth the trip. Bring someone with you. Try to park right by the front entrance. Once you are inside, I imagine that this is what heaven is like… LOL
For a good size (like the one in the photo), it’s about right. I have purchased smaller ones, but in not good condition for as low as $5, but that’s very hard to find, especially when you are looking for several at one time.

Your entire site is like eye candy. Wonderful ideas. I LOVE the crates….anything that allows for extra storage.
Thanks!

Hi Ash! If you’re in LA, I’d try Olde Good Things http://www.ogtstore.com/ or Pasadena Architectural Salvage http://www.pasadenaarchitecturalsalvage.com/pages/index.php both places are HEAVEN and probably your best bet in finding them all in one place. I’d go to Olde Good Things first. Let me know how it works out!!!
your a DOLL! ill let you know how it all turns out! Thanks!
btw. which Old Good Things do you recommend?

Hey, I was just wondering how you secured the shelves to the wall?
