Three Year Blogaversary
WOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! It’s my Blogaversary! On my One Year Blogaversary I had published 266 posts. On my Two Year Blogaversary I was over 500. This year I am at 769 on DIY Inspired and 140 on Inheriting Our Planet…. GEESH! Not to mention all my articles at GMC Trade Secrets and Earth911.com! I have been a busy girl! Those last two years on my Blogaversary I wrote about my most popular posts. This year, I think I’m going to re-cap my personal favorite posts of all time.
It’s so fun to look back at all the things I’ve created. I honestly didn’t know I had it in me. I recall being surprised that people wanted to work with me (I still am honestly). Now I can say that I’ve worked with Home Depot, Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts, Martha Stewart, and Aol! What the??? Isn’t that crazy? I’m really looking forward to the rest of the year, to see what comes next in my blogging journey. Anyway, let’s get to my faves! Here we go!
I have to start with a couple posts that revealed two of my favorite rooms in the house. The first one is my Dining Room makeover reveal. I was so excited about this one because it was really my first full transformation, floors, walls, furniture, and décor.
The next one is my Craft Room Tour. It’s probably the room in the house that I spend the most time. It inspires me to create and I am so lucky to have it.
As far as individual projects go, I really love the Repurposed Cabinet Door turned Jewelry Storage.
I also love walking in my front door and seeing this Radiant Orchid Address Wreath I made.
One of my most FUN posts was a Mystery Box Challenge I participated in for Krylon. I was given six items plus spray paint and I had to create something using at least four of the items. I ended up making a Spring Bunting and Gift Box Set.
As far as holidays go, I loved this pumpkin centerpiece I did for Jo-Ann Fabrics and Craft Stores.
This was my absolute favorite Halloween project, an eerie DIY Halloween wreath that I made.
During Christmas time, sometimes it’s the simplest things that I love the best, like this Easy Winter Forest in Apothecary Jars.
In the parties category, I did a few fun ones, but again, a simple one I did in a jiffy took the cake. I love this Pretty in Pink Play Date I did for my daughter and her two best friends.
I know it’s not Inheriting Our Planet’s anniversary, but I feel like I have to add a favorite from there. It would have to be the mini upcycled Easter baskets I made out of those infamous red SOLO cups. They were SO fun to make that I couldn’t stop!
OK, so I probably could make this list a lot longer because I had so much fun this year! I really can’t wait what the next year brings!
