I do my best to go healthy at our house but it doesn’t always work.  One thing we do love is different types of nuts and dried fruits.  I thought this idea would be fun for friend and neighbor gifts for Christmas or really anytime!

Because of this, I created a “We are nuts about you!” tag that you can print and use for free. I made it in three different sizes. Here is how I made these cute gifts.

Making the Gift

Time: 15 Minutes

Materials:

• Milk Glasses
• Various Nuts and/or dried fruit
• Burlap
• String
• Scissors
• Free We Are Nuts About You tag
• Hole Punch

 

Instructions:

Make sure the nuts that you choose fit easily in the container of choice.  I picked a variety of flavors, textures, and colors.  I layered three different types in each jar and closed the lid.

Next, I cut and tied a piece of burlap around the top. The smallest tag fit the best for this one so I cut those out using a circle punch and a hole punch and tied it onto the bottle.

These make fun gifts for teachers, coaches, neighbors, and family members. You can accompany it with some cookie ingredients and some recipes to make a fun gift basket or give them out on their own!
