Easy DIY Angry Birds Party Favors
Today is my birthday! Nah nah nah nah! And I’m gonna have a good time! Nah nah nah nah! Noooo! I’m not having an Angry Birds party for my birthday, BUT my best friend’s son is turning the big 5 and I wanted to make these easy DIY Angry Birds Party Favors for his party coming up this weekend. I know nothing about Angry Birds but I thought, hey, all birds have droppings, so why not make them edible (ew). I’m such a Dork…moving on…
Here’s what you need:
- Computer and printer
- Colorful card stock
- White paper
- Circle punch
- Glue or tape
- Paper cutter or scissors
- Stapler
- Small treat bags
- Tasty treats for inside
At first I was going to buy Angry Birds stickers to put on the favors but then I didn’t want to get ready, get my daughter ready, get in my car, and go to the store… oh AND spend money. So instead, I opened my computer and searched Google images for “Angry Birds characters” and made my own “stickers”. I printed them out and cut them with a circle punch. I also cut out colorful larger circles to use as a border.
I also printed out tags that said, “Angry Bird Droppings” (yes, I think I’m funny), cut some card stock to size, and assembled each favor to look like this.
I filled the plastic treat bags with SweetWorks candies and stapled them together.
Tah dah!! Aren’t they cute? I thought they’d be a fun and tasty addition to the party that the kids could take home.
