This year, my husband persuaded me to play Fantasy Football again. I agreed for two reasons: 1) it’s kind of fun (but don’t tell him I told you) and 2) it’s an awesome excuse to throw a football party or small get together! My favorite games to watch are Sunday morning games. It’s a great time to relax, spend time with friends and family, and eat brunch together.

Some easy game day party food ideas that I like to put out when my friends first arrive, are pastries, mini muffins, and fresh fruit. This way, it’s easy to grab and eat with your fingers. I conveniently keep a roll of Bounty out at all times for messes. During halftime, we start cooking a traditional breakfast for party food.  We make eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, and waffles in our favorite waffle maker. Sometimes we will make to order waffles with blueberries, bananas, or chocolate chips.  It gets a little hectic and messy in the kitchen but it’s ok!
