Gold and Glittered Mason Jar Centerpiece

| |

I have done so many Mason Jar Crafts over the years.  This time, I wanted to try out some new Krylon glitter blast spray paint that I got.  I decided to make a Gold and Glittered Mason Jar Centerpiece. It turned out beautifully and I only needed a few materials to get the job done.

Instructions:

Make sure you sauce jars are clean and dry. I like to save all sizes because you’ll never know when you’ll need them!

Turn them upside down and spray paint them in a well-ventilated area. I sprayed three light coats of metallic gold.

Once they are dry, use Painter’s tape to tape off the area you would like glittered.  Again, I used three light and even coats of Krylon’s Glitter Blast spray paint. I used the colors Posh Pink, Silver Flash, and Fierce Fuchsia. Allow them to dry.

I filled my vases with water and made an arrangement of fresh peonies and roses.

Isn’t it pretty??? Here are a few more pictures.

For one of them, I decided to wrap a little lace and make a “welcome home” tag to give to my best friend as a house warming gift for her new house! It’s a great gift for teachers appreciation and Mother’s Day too!

These would also make great inexpensive bridal shower, baby shower, wedding, or birthday party centerpieces.  The possibilities are endless with color combinations as well. You can embellish them further with lace, ribbon, or burlap.

  3. So pretty. We did something really similar at our church Mardis Gras themed dinner, but in gold, green, and purple. I love the way you painted yours at the bottom with the glitter though. Great idea for the next time I get put in charge of table centerpieces! Pinning to my projects board.
