Gold and Pastel Party Favors

I LOVE decorating for parties. Any excuse to paper craft or create something with a theme in mind is always good in my book. For this party, the colors were gold and pastels. I made some simple decorations and table centerpieces that I could easily transport to the restaurant and put up right before everyone got there. I also made these gold and pastel party favors for everyone to take home. After all, who doesn’t like some rich chocolate goodness after dinner?

The decided to design a label with my best friend’s initial and a big 4-0 (P.S. I can’t believe we are 40 now!)! I also put “thanks for coming” on it.

I used a circle craft punch to cut them out.

I also cut strips of scrapbook paper to tape each label to.

I filled some little gold party favor boxes with a variety of individually wrapped chocolates.

Lastly, I wrapped each strip around each box and secured it with double sided tape.

Don’t forget to check out the last minute cupcake toppers I made as well as the monogrammed flower centerpieces. I also made these little photo medallions that we hung all around the party venue. I printed out a bunch a pictures from Facebook of the guest of honor, her family, and friends. We placed a photo on each side of a paper doily and hung them up with fishing line. Of course I forgot to take pictures of the final result (whoops).
